Mechanisms of Signal Transduction
in Cell Adhesion and Differentiation

It is a pleasure to announce the ABCD meeting “Mechanisms of Signal Transduction in Cell Adhesion and Differentiation”.

The spring '08 meeting will take place in Certosa di Pontignano, beginning at noon on Friday 28 March and ending at 15:00 pm on Saturday 29 March.

We aim to have three sessions, focusing on (a) cell migration, (b) molecular organisation of the cell-ECM interface, and (c) mechanisms of adhesion-mediated signal transduction.

The talks will be given by PhD students and postdocs, and will be chosen from submitted abstracts.

Abstracts must be submitted online through the link at the bottom of this page. The deadline for abstract presentation is March 15th 2008.

The official language is English.

This year it will be a pleasure to have as invited speaker Prof. Pier Paolo Di Fiore (IFOM Fondazione Istituto FIRC di Oncologia Molecolare, Milano) who will give a plenary lecture "...really, how many things does endocytosis do?" on Friday at the end of the session.

Registration and accommodation details

The registration fee will be €125 and includes coffee breaks, lunches on 28 and 29 March, dinner on 29 March, accommodation in Certosa di Pontignao, and the abstract book. For participants that do not require accommodation, the registration fee will be €80 only.

Deadline for abstract presentation is March 15th 2008.

Deadline for payment is March 20th 2008.
